Foreshore Volunteers.

Volunteers are at the heart of the Foreshore Project. They will help to make a people’s conservation team, enhancing the environment and welcoming thousands of visitors every year.

What could you do?

Bring the foreshore to life…
Volunteers will welcome visitors and help care for the local environment. Your enthusiasm will bring visits to life.

Inspire hearts and minds…
Volunteers will be involved in a range of activities including history, art, music and conservation. Help make a visit spark a lifelong passion for the Lake District.

Share your skills…
Whether your skills are in conservation, marketing, events, IT or another area, why not share them with us?

Have fun…
We want volunteers of all ages, including young adults. So if you fancy a mix of hard work, fun and friendship then you should think about joining us on the foreshore.
